Here are the steps that I followed, although I also tried many variations, like trying with my USB cable connected or disconnected. However, my non-techie family have all managed to set up wireless printing at their home in 5 minutes or less with different brands of printers. I'm a tech writer for a society of software and very savvy in computer science. In the end, I always end up having to reinstall the printer with the same old USB connection. I spent probably 10 + hours trying to get this set up. I want to be able to print when away from my office, so have tried for 2 years, on and off, to get my printer to print wireless. I can set up to print from my laptop with a USB connection to the printer.
